Limens

Ongoing

li-men (noun) a sensory threshold of a physiological or psychological response. It is the boundary of perception. On one side of a limen a stimulus is perceivable, on the other side it is not.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved the feeling of being in a place that feels spiritual and sacred, and where there is both silence and whispers. These places are rare in real life and far more common in dreams. The place might be very large (and dwarfing) or it might be very small, something I can hold in my hands.

In Limens, I am exploring the dreamlike, memory-imbued qualities of physical spaces.
